I have resided in Northwest Indiana since 1996.  After graduating from Greensburg High School in south-central Indiana, I immediately shipped to Army boot camp at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.  Upon my return, I attended Indiana State University and graduated with general honors in 1994.  I then worked for Ellis Law Offices as a bankruptcy paralegal in Terre Haute.

Since graduating from Valparaiso University School of Law, I have focused on bankruptcy and general practice.  I joined the law firm Terrell & Thrall, LLP in 2000, and handled a variety of matters in family and juvenile law, employment and business litigation, contract drafting, real estate sales and purchases, Social Security disability claims, and bankruptcy over the next 12 years.

I launched my solo practice in August of 2012.

I enjoy the relationships I have with clients, and excel at the interpersonal communication required between us.  I also tend to get along well with the other people involved in my cases.

I strive to be responsive to your needs. Creative thinking often leads us to that third alternative, and my wish is to find the best and most economical solution for your particular legal problem.

At the same time, all my training and experience allows me to d
iffuse high conflict situations, maintain patience with difficult people, and stand strong when the going gets tough.
